Welcome Minnesota AMT  The Minnesota State Society of AMT is comprised of members and students living in the beautiful state Minnesota. I would like to invite students, prospective members, new members, and old members to be a part of your State Society meetings. Here’s how it works: This organization meets biannually in the spring and in the fall. Generally scheduled the evening for the Board of Directors to conduct business of the Society all members are welcome.  At the fall meeting we are trying to plan a continuing education program for the membership. Our spring meeting will generally be held in April or May. It is part of the Minnesota Collaborate Spring meeting which is a collaborative of 8 Laboratory Professional Organizations in the State of Minnesota. The meeting rotates sites                                             2011 will be Duluth, MN                                   2012 Minneapolis/St. Paul                                     2013 St. Cloud MN                                   2014 Minneapolis/St. Paul                                   2015 Rochester, MN And then we start over again. The volunteer committee starts planning in the fall for the next years meeting. Being part of the committee or helping out at the meeting allows for meeting registration discounts. This is a Tree day meeting, which includes vendor information, continue education sessions, and social networking events.The Spring meeting we elect National Convection delegates. In the fall we nominate state members for National Awards, and include the election of State officers and board members and the general business of the Society.This is your society and we need your input.
